About the event
Gosia Kosiec is exhibiting in Gothenburg at Miva Fine Art Gallery in the city centre near the Cathedral. In her work, she combines layers of colour, symbols, and typography to build intense visual worlds where the abstract and the figurative meet.
Her pieces often move between emotion and structure, where small brushstrokes and recurring signs such as letters and numbers create a visual flow that reflects how we experience a world filled with information, pace, and constant impressions. The result is paintings that can be experienced immediately, while also revealing something deeper and more personal over time.
Kosiec’s art is largely about how we see and interpret our surroundings – how identity, memory, and the present moment blend into what we understand as reality. Her works invite the viewer to slow down, look closer, and discover new layers the longer they stay with them.
