Carl-Einar Häckner – Original Sculptures and Cut-Out Figures

Carl-Einar Häckner’s artistic practice also includes cut-out figures and sculptural original works in metal. Among the motifs are figures such as Alice and The Magician, created in different formats and colour variations.

The works are presented both as freestanding sculptural objects mounted on wooden bases and as wall-mounted works. The wall-mounted figures are available in different colours and variations and are positioned away from the wall, creating a distinct shadow behind the figure. The shadow therefore becomes part of the visual presentation of the work and enhances its three-dimensional character.

Figures and silhouettes are also closely connected to Häckner’s artistic expression. His performance Siluetter, which premiered at Aftonstjärnan in Gothenburg in 2024, relates directly to this theme. On his own website, Häckner describes his visual work through recurring silhouettes and black lines that develop into images and stories.

All sculptures and cut-out figures presented here are original works by Carl-Einar Häckner. The works are available in different formats, colours and variations and can be presented either as freestanding sculptural objects or as wall-mounted artworks.
